littlejo.. I thought I was the only one who had this kind of vision. my deal is I was born with really crossed eyes. this was in '52 so the docs didn't have such cool tech as today but they went in and shortened my eye muscles to try to get them straight. well they tried, but missed just enough that they cannot ever focus together on one point. as you, I only use one eye at a time and my depth perception up close is poor, but I can still load a truck with dirt, just not as fast as the young guns can.

I didn't know my eyes did this till I was about 18. I have astigmatism and will get cataract surgery next two weeks and am putting in a new lense to correct for that. just long distance and still will use readers for up close.

Interesting subject.
