We have a 1760 JD planter with 3 bushel boxes and we use an 80/20 mix of talc/graphite. Our 5gal tubs always come with a scoop, and we use about 2/3-3/4 of a scoop per full box, sprinkled fairly evenly across the top of the entire box. As far as the plates go, can't help you much there, we have precision esets on our planter and we use the JD 108 hole plates.
