Iowa | A sealed bid is a piss poor way to do a land sale.
Sell it privately or have a land auction.
Land auctions seem to bring the absolute most money here. I think folks sometimes let emotions cloud good judgement. Which is good for the seller.
If you don't get what u want on the auction. You can always no sale it, and list it. Happens once in awhile, it seems that they can sucker in out of the area money to buy something that the locals won't pay enough for.
