NC SD | Looking at putting up a shop (60x80x18). I got some quotes back on the building, cement work and labor. The quotes are all in that $200,000-$210,000 range. This includes the shell, insulation, interior sheeting, walk-in doors and windows. I know I would need some electric and heat source and a big overhead door but what else would be a big line item? I have talked to a few people who have done this size or close to this size building and they all tell me better count on $400,000 or more when all said and done. Theirs were done 3-5 years ago. Have things softened up that much or am I in for some surprises? | |
