Typically 0, but had to get new ECU in JD 996 cotton picker and JD 8400 (both older machines) and they needed the specific equipment payload installed by dealer. Not sure how I could have gotten around that. No major problems with the newer stuff that I couldn't handle. I think most of the mechanic work is still going to be replacing seals, belts, batteries, tires, hydraulic cylinders and hoses, tearing down gear boxes and replacing shafts/seals, bearings, combine wear parts, etc..... and don't forget about sensors.
