K-State land rental info says that any rate agreed to by two parties is to be deemed fair IIRC, but I have to wonder about older low-information landowners practically giving away their land rental.

Seems like the one rent auction I attended years ago set really high prices. Is this just the euphoria of the moment or does it truly establish the correct price discovery level?
