Clamp on amp meter is your friend.

I currently have drain on 9610 combine that showed up 2 years ago. Still hunting that down, but now have a remotely switched battery cut out switch. No more issues. Have cut out on one semi. Have learned other things have slight memory draws. Had dead batteries, blamed memory draw, until i charged and load tested batteries, bad, replaced all Good. Battery maintainers where feasible are good.
