When you take the sensor off the flat blade that goes into the sensor should be straight up and down when the front end is at the normal height. If not the shaft is probably loose and has turned. The new fix is RE584459 kit with the shaft and bearings and end caps and has tapered bushings to tighten the shaft in the worn holes.
