For us it was very eye opening, although our agronomist told us how it would work out and he was right. We had way way too much down pressure using airbags than we needed. Our depth was always consistent, but our depth was always consistent because we were running 75-90 pounds in the airbags which is around 300 pounds downforce. And we have individual row boxes, used to have 3 bushel boxes which was even worse. Now with the regular 1.6 bu boxes were usually running about 55-65 pounds uplift in tilled and strips. And in no-till we run up to about 100 pounds down. We absolutely love the system | |
