Here free standing panels are in constant demand. I used to make some to sell but people will drive all over to save $100-200/ gooseneck load. Personally if you can't make them for $100 less than what you see for sale save your money. I buy pipe/rod for projects and build extra. Seems like I end up using the extra. It's not the easiest material to handle and weld.
