Royal City, WA | We have an 8330 that settled after parking it and after a couple weeks to move it again it would not raise up. Usually, you can press on the brakes and move IVT handle from fwd to rev and it would raise up but not this time. It was showing an SFA code but I can't remember the number. I believe it was something to do with low power to the front of the tractor. I tried calibrating the SFA as that had worked in the past but it would not let me once I locked out the SCV's. It would show an ERR on the display once I locked out the SCV's. At first, the dealership thought it was the front pins rotating as they had experienced that in the past and with a tractor of this age. I finally hauled it into the local dealership and it has been in there since 10/16/24 but I did say I wasn't in a hurry to get it back. Finally through diagnostics, they believe the controller behind the cab is faulty as they are getting good ground and power going to the controller but not out to the front. They also say one of the sensors on the front pins is bad. They have not finished the repair yet, but hopefully this is the fix to the issue we've been having. We have (2) 8330 tractors with ILS and they both settle over a couple days. | |
