KY | Anybody else dealing with this complete nonsense? A call here and there I can deal with, but this is getting stupid. 10 calls from the same number in under 60 seconds. Can’t even use my phone for the pop ups of the new calls. Just had a new number do it two mins ago but only 3 calls on that one. This just started within the last few days. I’ve been getting random junk calls since I was told my local bank sold the information of anyone who filed for the Covid PPP program. I tried the paid version of robokiller for a bit, but I get multiple calls per day from numbers in 7 states for work, and sometimes they are extremely urgent… RK blocked some of those at times so I had to part with it. First off, with all the BS laws that get put on the books each year, there should be one about the spam calls. Second, there’s been technology out there for years to allow selected numbers through if they call a 2nd time within a minute or something, so a family member can reach you in an emergency if your phone is set to do not disturb. Why can’t there be something that blocks an unknown number from calling more than once in 60 seconds or 3-5 minutes or something along those lines. Complete BS. Yes, number is on the do not call which is completely useless when banks and other institutions are selling your data, that no longer applies.
