Subject: Wedge anchor vs large tapcon

West central Ohio

I'm curious what you guys prefer? Which is stronger? I am needing to fasten gate hangers into the edge of an 8" thick concrete wall. These gates are heavy, 150+ pounds and 12 feet long, so a lot of tension on the fasteners.

1/2", 5/8", or 3/4"?
