| If you have an android phone (i have android 15), you swipe up or push the button to have google assistant come on and read that your assistant is asking them to state who they are. The google assistant used to be a very long message and now it is not so long. This would really make the scammer mad. That drives off a lot of scammers. Then you can long press most of the time and you can report them as spammers. Then you can block them where you do not even know they called you.
Android 15 is only because this is the fourth and last upgrade to my phone.
I do not have these problems very much any more.
