Subject: higher cca batteries have shorter lives

Southern Alberta
In general the higher the cold cranking amps in a battery size will mean thinner plates and a more fragile and shorter life battery. My guess is that most people think they are getting a better battery when they buy their replacement by selecting the higher CCA battery. In most cases this shortens the batteries lifespan.
