NE Iowa | Have a bale trailer that is wired to a 7 way plug. It has 4 wire harness, yellow, green, brown and red. The red is the ground. Having issues with the 7 way going to the tractor, its a Maxxum 145. The harness between the trailer and tractor is 6 wire harness, black and blue wires are not used . I have looked at the wiring diagram on the tractor and have hooked up the harness according to the diagram. Problem I am having is I can get the right blinker and flasher to work on both the green and yellow wire, the left only comes on with brake and lights. Its driving me nuts, grounds are good and according to the diagram for the tractor plug it should be right. If the trailer only has a four wire harness do I need to hook the other two wires, blue and black, on the harness between the tractor and trailer? Any help appreciated, about ready to start drinking | |
