Here, crop ground rent is flat, pasture ground rent is up a bit.

Over the years, the old timers used to figure rent as a multiple of the taxes. If figuring that way, rent is actually going down, as I don't think there are very many places renting for 3X the taxes anymore, around here that is about where rent tops out.

Keep in mind real estate taxes are a bugger here, so take it for what it's worth, but when I started farming in the 90s, 5X taxes was fair rent, now 3X taxes is top end.
