Built a shop/ shed? Sure. Most all of us ever have built it too small. Good luck.

Easy to spend your money….. 12 foot wall typically limits you to a 10 foot door. That gets really annoying low for even the bigger compact tractors, and motor homes, travel trailers.

You don’t need the 20 foot high 80x160 shop most of these discussions end up getting to…..

A 14 foot wall allows for a taller door, and makes it easier to add a loft to store more. Easier to work on something tall that you have in the shop, need to work on the lights on the top of a cab, etc.

But consider the future, is a 10 foot high door going to be ok a decade from now. If you ever sell or pass on to your kids, will their toy or machine fit in a 10 foot door or will this building not be a valuable asset to the next owner. Can’t change it then now is the time….
