| Hey guys - long time reader, first time posting. We are looking to make some changes to our self propelled swather with mounted mergers. Been around Massey and MacDon in the past. Run mainly green stuff other than the swather. Heard stories on the older Deeres with the RCI attachment. Seems like every color has a strong spot but nobody has the complete package of header, swather, and merger. Always have heard good things about the W series Deere swathers and 500R headers. I just saw that they are now advertising their own single table merger on their website, compared to the two table design in the past.
Feel like there is some advantage to switch to green from a display/GPS/dealer support standpoint. Haven't heard the greatest of news about the new WR265 from Massey compared to their older machines. Anyone been around the new Deere mergers and seen them in the field? Pictures look like they are doing a fine job, wish there were some videos out there besides a couple social media ones I stumbled across while looking. Look pretty simple like the MacDon machines and the controls look easy in the cab.
