EC IL | For those running a 24 row 1250 series planter with Downforce Control on Airbags, how much air pressure change do you see (up/down) within each pass, and what pressure is typical for your type of tillage?
For reference, our old Deere 1770 24 row planter in VT freshened strips used the old double airbags with a 20/20, Airforce, and 6 rows with load cells. Typical PSI was 40psi, and the change per pass was about 15 psi +/- from the normal value, but I saw as much as 30+/- changes on some passes. Runtime on the compressor per the 20/20 was 20-50% with all the increases/decreases in air. | |
