central - east central Minnesota - | Oakwood - 1/8/2025 12:36 I have an early model case 420 with a blown shibaura N844LT engine. I have asked in the past here but nothing came from it then so giving it one more try. Anyone out there have good used motor to sell or swapped something different in for a motor? Block is cracked so rebuilding not an option and replacement not seemingly available. Digging online indicates Perkins 404C-22T and Cat 3024C/T may be the same or related but not sure they are close enough to bolt in. These were about 55-60 hp high rpm engines (2600-3000 rpm depending on info i find online so i would think thats faster than most and would limit any replacement options. Rest of the machine is decent shape so would like to try and revive it if i could. Was thinking of buying something else used but used skid steers really pricey around me for anything that isnt totally trashed with crazy high hours. If anyone had any experience or advice that might help i would appreciate it Thanks Martin Try this guy - if he's still there, He'll be able to fix you up, one way or another. "I'm the guy in Hugo. Thank you for the kind words. I stumbled upon this thread while searching the interwebs. I thought I would take some time to share a little back story on JT Services.I'm Tim, the "T" in JT Services. March 17th of 2014, I sold the business JT Services to DV Roland Enterprises, dba JT Services. DV Roland Enterprises bankrupted JT Services and ceased operations, owing many people and businesses. I was retired but now lost my source of retirement income. I have received back a train wreck of a business back and am trying to get it back on the rails. At one time, JT Services was one of the largest volume Perkins industrial engine dealers in the country. Given the limited information about JT Services and the fact that much of it within the industry is negative, I understand any apprehension in dealing with me and take no offense.
