My strategy for dealing with spam calls: answer the call; press what ever I need to to reach a live person; when live person answers I switch phone to speaker and generate the most obnoxious noise humanly possible near the phone — think 3 lb hammer on plate steel or the like. Since I started doing this spam calls mostly quit.
