Solar people were out canvassing today. $1,300 an acre 2 % increase a year for 25 years on a lease. Rather tempting. What am I missing?

$1300 is a low ball offer. We own 120 acres around a substation with an additional 280 acres across the road and they have been beating me up for 2 plus years. Last offer about 6 months ago was $2100 for 20 plus a 10 year option. 3.5% annual increase. |
