Hennepin, IL | Is your 1250 bulk fill? If it is, that alone will make your pass to pass downforce more consistent. Not a 1250, but our 1200 doesn't really adjust much within a pass, it's moreso from one area of the field to another. That's down bags only. Typically in worked ground it runs the minimum pressure for 50+% of the field.
Edit: when I say worked ground, it's typically fall ripped cornstalks or beanstubble that may or may not have been shallow worked in the fall then it all has a pass with a soil finisher down to planting depth give or take. Read: pretty mellow. If you're planting below a spring VT pass, that will definitely take more downforce than I'm talking.
