My niece and family live in Irvine. She says she feels no immediate danger, but the wind has been howling all last night and today. Her house is filled with smoke and soot/ash which penetrates around the doors and windows. January is supposed to be their "wet" season, but they have had little no NO precipitation of consequence for quite a while. showboat
