NW Indiana | Because the land in the location they want is not for sale and it for sure is not for sale at market price. If they went knocking on doors asking to purchase land for solar panels they likely would have to pay minimum 2x price but likely in the 3x range to get people to sell otherwise there is no upside for the current landowner. A lease offers the current landowner on exceptional return in which that gets their attention. | |
