I had both eyes done about 5 years ago. I was in my early 50’s. I ended up with Panoptic lens. They told me that I might have halos around lights at night but I would get used to it. That is pretty much true but if it’s raining at night there are halos around every drop on the windshield. Not sure I’d do it again ,but no glasses is nice too.
Not cataracts but my vision was so bad I opted to get implant lenses put in. I ended up with that halo around bright lights at night side affect, I guess there's a drop you can take to reduce it. As for OP , if I were in your shoes and you said you do alot of reading or close up I would get lenses for that instance. Then when you drive or go outside its easy to have prescription sunglasses for that. Wore glasses since grade 5 and it's amazing to not have to wear them anymore. |
