Subject: RE: California Wildfires

St. Joseph, Champaign County, IL
Watched a video earlier today that said the area burning, that's now in the news, is chaparral country. Said it's a lot like a dense shrub. Prior to 2024, there were 2-3 years where the rain patterns really let the chaparral grow. This year the rains have been essentially shut off, so there's a lot of growth from prior years that's now dry and ready to burn hot and fast.
