talked about the natives talking about the large dams or lakes that were built earlier were making more rain in s dakota which made growing a crop a little more certain than before the reservoirs were built . that maybe one of the reasons it don't rain much in that wiled fire area of cal , I guess the gov has been instrumental in getting rid of dams and lakes out there . probably one of the reasons so dry archie ps if they are going to live in a desert the houses need to be manson building with tile roofs and wood growth needs eliminated completely and decorate with rocks ant the brush needs to be destroyed back miles before building . nobody can insure houses in a area such as that I live downstream from the last dam on the Missouri River.
