Central ND | I've used a bunch of bomb can paint. Ace Hardware paint seems to be the most independent of all of them, I won't use it. Rust-Oleum, Krylon, and all major OEM paints work just fine together. I've used some Magic from TSC in a bomb can, and didn't have any problems. My guess is the paint you brush on isn't compatible with the solvents in a rattle can. Besides, most all paints have pretty specific dry times that are NOT negotiable. After you clean it all off, I'd suggest you get some autobody grade oil and grease remover to make sure all traces of that brush paint is GONE. | |
