Milford, IL | We have a Maytag double oven that has been a good unit. They use an ignitor, parts are inexpensive and replacement is easy. $30 in parts is favorable compared to a new stove and dragging a replacement into the kitchen, might be best to try to light the stove and use a portable flashlight to watch the ignition operation. If it does not glow and light, might be best to find your model number and order a replacment ignitor.
Im sure I have replaced the broiler ignitor and at least one oven ignitor on our stove that is about 10-12 years old. | |
