Yes, I have sympathy for those innocent children, elderly and others who've suffered death, injury and losses I am praying for them I do NOT have empathy or sympathy for those CA idiots in government ( both at state and Federal levels), lobbyists and " fellow countrymen " that failed to prepare ahead. Proper land and forest mgmt., water avail., etc. they hamstrung planning for this disaster Now all hell broke loose !
Yes, here in IL we do plan for disasters for fire, tornados, earthquakes. Policies and practices in place on our farm and with neighbors, fire and rescue departments staffed are examples. Tillage completed we implemented manage fire control in our township, too. Common sense stuff
Oh, another thing; I , and I suspect other folks , will be sharing the cost of this disaster through higher insurance premiums ahead | |
