Look at your compressor, and see if you have an relief valve installed. If you have ice in the system or the governor freezes up you can blow the gasket on the compressor. Some guys will add a relief valve onto the compressor to prevent this. There's an outside chance it could be the engine fan clutch venting air, or locking up,, if its an air clutch.
