One place I worked for a short while. Had this thing you press your index finger on and it would scan it to punch you in or out. It never worked right. They had the company that sold it come out and the salesman said “well lots of times if you just lick your finger before you scan it it works perfect”. Disgusting. I just texted my hours to the secretary each week until I left
