WC IA | My experience says early planted beans get treatment and late planted beans do not benefit as much. It pays 9 years out of 10 to planted treated beans. If you don't like the treatment cost, consider a MyYield or KSI or other treater and treat yourself - but that requires time.
Tip for you is that on those late planted soybeans, let your seed guy know that you can take excess treated beans of his hands late in the season. Most seed companies treat too much and are anxious to get rid of them. It's far cheaper to give away the seed treatment than to dispose of excess treated soybeans.
