Subject: RE: GM Question from a Ford guy

Mn
I have a ‘13 with 5.3 and 250,000 miles. Ordered a new 5.3. The 6.2 is regarded as better but I didn’t want to buy premium gas.
Biggest issue is lifter failures. I will put an DFM/auto start stop eliminator in from range technologies. Hopefully this helps. Works good in my ‘13
I went with Chevy because I’m used to them and felt they were lower to the ground so I don’t need to use running board to climb in.
Stay away from 8 speed transmission. They have problems.
