My Meyers 750 VB spreads everything from pen pack to compost at rates as low as 7 ton/acre very well driving on 40' centers or less.  Ive also spread topsoil, clay subsoil, sod clumps, piles of ash, and cornstock bedding, and ditch/ pond mud mixed with reedgrass with it no problems.
