Sargent, Nebraska | If its below zero and windy, they get checked every hour round the clock. If it's nice out, it can be 2 or 3 hours between checking. It just depends on the weather and what we see when we check them. They are mostly trouble free the main reason for checking them is getting them in the lambing barn under heat lamps right away. After 48 to 72 hours, they are banded and tagged and back outside in a open front barn with the others that have lambed. | |
