| Not familier with the Ford Escapes, but the Subaru's or any Japanese all wheel drives are usually very reliable. Do some research on any GM, Arcadia, Equinox, Traverse, Envision. Seems they don't seem to last much past 140,000 miles. Not an issue if you trade them, but we tend to keep ours a long time. I had a Honda CRV for a farm car. Under 6" of snow, it got around better than my crew cab pickup. Still have our Subaru outback that we bought new in 2010. Gave it to my daughter for college, got it back after she bought her new car. 193,000 miles, leather interior,exterior still looks like new. | |
