N.W. Illinois | I never mentioned ALS resistance, I don't know why you brought that up. Pursuit was always a hit or miss (mostly miss) chemical on many labeled weeds going back to its inception. Of course this was well before weeds were ALS resistant. American Cyanamid reps had a million excuses on why it didn't work, it was never Pursuits fault.
We saw corn yield loss from carryover on ground 6.5 and higher with good O.M. at lower rates than you are recommending. I certainly was not "jacking up a rate". In the many times you have advised using Pursuit you never once mentioned that carryover can be an issue. Do you know the original poster's soils that you can make such a recommendation?
I found First Rate to be hit or miss too. Not a fan. I didn't say Pursuit was "worthless". I said it sucks. | |
