65.61 yield is what the cattle hung at

They paid him 315 per lb hanging

So as example a 1500lb steer x 0.6561=984.15lb hanging

984.15x$3.15= $3100 per head

Industry standard is 63% yield but that doesn't mean you can't do worse than that
