No, it is not possible to use a steering angle sensor with a CFX750 with ez steer.
The heading is calculated from the antenna position's change over time and from the heading gyro in the T2 terrain compensation box. If the T2 box is not mounted perpendicular to the travel direction then performance suffers. Double check that your box is mounted reasonably perpendicular to travel direction.
