His main gripe is the perceived unfair trade imbalance. If only there was proper leadership during the last trade agreement of the USMCA, we might not have this imbalance. When it was enacted the leader at that time said,
” Once approved by Congress, this new deal will be the most modern, up-to-date, and balanced trade agreement in the history of our country”
