| The Liberals and BC NDP put up every roadblock possible until the private company that wanted to build it threw up their hands and backed out. In the end the Liberals spent several times more money to build it than the original cost. Good thing all the equalization money they got from Alberta and Saskatchewan flowed down east to them. Not to mention Quebec's annual windfall in the same equalization money. You're welcome.
Oh and I almost forgot about how Quebec does everything you can to prevent a pipeline to the east coast so you could use domestic oil instead of importing oil from Saudi Arabia to keep the Irving refinery going.
