Scrolled and skimmed through this thread wondering if Jonsered was still a thing. I have one at least 10 years old and it's a high quality saw, but it looks like they've been ruined now too. Thanks for the update.

Jonsered and Husqvarna were (are) made in Sweden. Both very high quality saws. Keep your jonsered up to snuff. It will last a lifetime. Try to keep all your covers bolts tight. They will rattle loose and then wreck your threads. Lots of interchangeable parts from husky. Was a little disappointed when Husqvarna did this but basically bought out a competitor.
