Southeast
Stihl still makes some great saws, just don't get a residential saw. A MS271 Farm Boss would be a good saw for you.

I have a Stihl MS194 arborist saw, a 280 Farm Boss, and a 034 Farm Boss. My big saw is a Husqvarna 288XP which has been great as well. Big beast of a saw that easily handles a 36" bar. Heavy, so it will work your a** off.
The 280 gets used the most by far.

If a Husky is nearby (and your only choice) that is how I would go. Just don't buy a residential grade saw.

Never used an Echo saw, so have nothing to say about them.

Saws set unused a lot so ALWAYS use non-ethanol fuel in them.
