Have all stihl here was a mixture before. Had 3 250 stihls here until the last tornado. Got tired of the one 250 I kept at the house. Never seemed right since new traded on a 261 holly smokes that is a saw now. Ended up getting rid of all the 250s for the 261 that saw flat out cuts. They are our general purpose saw now. Light, plenty of power, start great, 18 inch bars on them all.

Stihl starting process for us

Choke it pull it until it kicks once flip choke to next level pull again and boom running strong every time!

We do have a FABULOUS stihl dealer in our area so it made my choice easy!


+1 on the starting procedure. That's how we do it as well.
