Missouri | Here there was a group with young kids in school, they decided they needed, new track and stadium among other things that were actually needed. Tried to shove it through. One selling point was “your $250,000 home will only increase $21 (or something a year) I can’t remember if taxing rate is same for residential housing compared to farm ground.
Our contention is those wanting this aren’t paying the taxes. One home in town, renting a home, (yeah I know they’re paying the taxes for lessor, they don’t understand that)
Not against funding our schools but we’re taxed out. | |
