Have a couple decent sized ones. The deeper the bank the more difficult it is. Large aggregate is key. 4 inch plus or larger chunks, compacted in. start with a tile line to get the water level down. Then install rock. It will still move some but usually you can get it sub water level and it will hold pretty well. If you have more $ you can form up and get some concrete in there with a tile below that. Again, needs to be lower than water level so it won't blow out in a flood situation.
