Interesting take… lots of not-tilled-before-planting (hope that doesn’t offend you the way saying “no-till” does apparently) soybeans planted around here. Works great for us and many others. And we ~till~ ahead of corn. Even *gasp* own a disk chisel and a ripper and they both get used. We’ve also got fields that have been full no-till for 30 years and fields that we do tillage ahead of beans. In other words, we do what is fit for the fields rather than force no-till or full-tillage on everything for the sake of “the system”
